Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Lounge Server to join our team. As a Lounge Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in our restaurant lounge in an elevated environment. Typical hours will run from 8 pm to 3 am, creating a rapport with guests, building client relationships, efficiently and elegantly adressing guest desires, concerns, and complaints
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus to guests and answer any questions about menu items
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Enter orders into the POS system
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and accurately
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with guests during their meal
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong upselling abilities to maximize sales opportunities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
