Provider Search is a key driver in our DHS mandate. Available to Sun Life Clients in our secure mobile app and website and now available to all Canadians at Luminohealth.ca, Provider Search makes it easy to find a health care provider including dentists, physiotherapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, and more. Health care providers have the ability to claim their page or create a custom profile in our network enabling them to share additional content that is relevant about themselves and their practices so potential patients can make a more informed decision for their health-care needs. Provider Search helps the health-care provider further engage and stand out to potential patients and grow their practice.

Role Summary:
The Business Development Representative / Account Development Representative will be responsible for selling paid profiles to health-care providers over the phone in our Provider Search network.

Main Accountabilities:
Ability to sell paid subscription models in our network to health care providers
Proactively make 50+ outbound calls a day to drive awareness and adoption following prescribed sales messaging and tactics
Communicate value to our health care providers and prospect new opportunities to fuel our sales pipeline
Accountable for full sales cycle – prospecting to close leveraging CRM Salesforce.com.
Leads provided – an existing relationship with Sun Life exists through other business units
Support client retention as necessary including proactive outbound calls such as welcome calls, appointment request follow ups, and sales support
Ability to work independently and manage time accordingly
Ability to capture needs of health-care providers during call campaigns to help provide feedback to the Director, Partnerships and product team to help influence product roadmap and future sales strategies

Competencies:
Undergraduate Business Degree, Health Sciences, or equivalent.
2-6 years previous experience in similar role or in a sales environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and selling skills
Hunter mindset – Self Starter, -,driven to find opportunities, motivated by exceeding sales KPI’s, resilient and disciplined, while passionate about solving business challenges
Must be able to interact with business owners and focus on needs based selling strategies
Organized and detail orientated
Coachable – ability to embrace learning new skills and ideas

Assets:
Previous experience with Salesforce.com
Previous experience selling marketing services
