The Opportunity:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the duties of warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely loading of customer’s bulk and packaged orders. The Warehouse Coordinator ensures optimum stock levels within the constraints of the warehouse size taking into consideration customer demands and inventory turns.This position will support deliveries as needed and will require a valid Class 3 driver’s license.
Responsibilities:[

Organize warehouse operator’s work and deliveries

Collaborate with Drivers to determine proper delivery routing

Reconcile, order and schedule bulk and packaged inventory deliveries

Coordinate VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) deliveries
-
Ship confirm orders in JD Edwards system
-
Responsible for processing customers’ order and resolving issues
-
Perform weekly/monthly Inventory counts
-
Manage and monitor inventory turns in the Warehouse

Document procedures
-
Deliver product when required (if employee holds the required class of licence)

Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
Sales and service experience considered an asset.
-
Experience with JD Edwards would be considered an asset
-
Capable of intense physical demands in relation to heavy lifting and ensuring proper lifting technique

Valid Class 3 driver’s license, with a clean abstract.

Experience working in the fuel industry or with lubricant products is an asset.

Experience operating a forklift and working in a warehouse setting

Ability to follow Departmental procedures

University Degree or Logistics diploma would be an asset
