The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled, motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving to join our Ottawa operations.
This is an important role within our organization. You will help ensure that customer orders, rental equipment and incoming products are accurately prepared, organized and ready for delivery or service. You'll work closely with our Service Technicians, Customer Service team, Sales Consultants and Service Coordinator to ensure our clients receive the right equipment at the right time.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative, staying organized and balancing independent responsibilities with teamwork.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, organize and load customer orders for delivery.
- Pick and verify products to ensure orders are accurate and complete.
- Receive incoming merchandise and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Properly tag, label, and organize equipment and inventory.
- Prepare equipment for our rental program, including cleaning and sanitizing returned rental equipment.
- Perform necessary quality-control checks on products and equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading merchandise from company vehicles.
- Help ensure rental and sales equipment is prepared and ready for scheduled deliveries.
- Coordinate with the Service Coordinator regarding equipment rentals, sales deliveries and service requirements.
- Work closely with Service Technicians, Customer Service and Sales Consultants.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Look up products and assist in locating equipment and inventory when required.
- Complete paperwork and documentation related to shipping, receiving, rentals and deliveries.
- Communicate with team members through email and Microsoft Teams.
- Set priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Assist fellow team members wherever needed to keep operations running efficiently.
- Follow company procedures for the safe handling, storage, and preparation of medical equipment.
- Perform other warehouse and operational duties as required.

- Is physically capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 65 lbs safely.
- Is willing to help wherever needed to support the team and our customers.
Qualifications & Assets

- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or related experience.
- Ability to safely lift up to 65 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Professional and respectful communication skills.
Assets:
- Experience in a medical supply, healthcare, mobility, or accessibility environment.
- Experience with rental equipment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
- Previous experience with inventory management or shipping/receiving systems.
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Experience working with delivery teams or service technicians.
