Job Description
The Sales Engineer works directly with the broader Sales team to provide technical expertise and client-facing demos of the Forsta HX platform. A successful SE positions the technology as an enabler to solve challenges and deliver business impact.
Your Role:

Collaborate with Sales Reps to provide a unified team demo approach

Effectively and comfortably lead a demo/discussion via phone, web or in person

Competently learn and speak to software features for the organization

Listen thoroughly to client needs and provide best scenario for solving requests

Provide consultative advice utilizing existing or learned knowledge of Forsta software
-
Conduct interactive online product demonstrations exhibiting software capabilities and efficiencies
- Customize online demos focusing on product strengths

Collaborate with Sales staff to provide high touch solutions to prospect needs

Successfully engage and build relationships with prospective and current clients

Communicate effectively via email/phone to fellow staff and prospective clients

Maintain team processes for tracking status of prospects

Identify development needs based on prospect feedback during interactions
Qualifications
-
3+ years working in software support, sales or similar field with direct client interaction
-
3+ years of Enterprise SaaS experience, preferably in Voice of the Customer or Market Research

Preferred programming experience/knowledge in Forsta Plus & Forsta Surveys
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Outstanding presentation skills

Detail-oriented and organized

Experience with survey field management processes

Work effectively while balancing multiple tasks, independently or in groups

Travel 15-20% for in person meetings tradeshows, events and demonstrations

BA/BS Degree in related field or industry related experience

The expected base salary range for this position is 70,000 - 81,000 USD. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
