Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing glass in residential, commercial projects. The Glass Installer will work closely with other trades to ensure precise and safe installation of glass products, contributing to the overall quality and safety of our projects.
Duties
- Measure and cut glass to specifications using hand tools and schematics
- Install glass panels in windows, doors, storefronts, showers and custom architectural features
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and insulation
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials and disposing of waste
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes
Qualifications
- Proven experience with hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for site travel purposes
