Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Outdoor Labourer (Seasonal/Casual). This is a casual position with no guaranteed weekly hours. Hours vary depending on weather and workload. Applicants should be reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
The position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in gardening, landscape care, and maintenance tasks in various weather conditions. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces.
Duties
- Daily activities include mowing, trimming, yard and property clean ups, etc.
- Use hand tools and power tools for various gardening and landscaping tasks
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid G driver's license
- Reliable transportation required
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, bending, crouching, working various environments
- Reliable and shows up on time
- Able to work independently without constant direction
Experience
- Previous experience with horticulture, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including pruning, planting, and soil care is desirable
- Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and safety procedures in outdoor work environments
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and proactive
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
