about this team
The Product Technical Solutions team is within the Product Integrity and Quality function of Supply Chain. From here, we deliver technical solutions to mitigate product and process integrity risks by designing our performance standards, laboratory testing, on-body testing, and providing technical expertise and advisory services.
The Product Experience Testing team defines, governs, and executes on-body product experience testing standards and programs, in-field, for all markets. Recommends technical solutions to mitigate product and process integrity risks and provides on-body testing and advisory services to evaluate the integrity of our products in meeting internal and external expectations of performance. Ensure wear testing is informed by global and enterprise strategy.
core responsibilities
As the Manager of Market Product Experience Testing, you will lead a team dedicated to conducting wear tests, analyzing results and delivering actionable insights to mainline teams across all markets and categories. Providing insights from wear tests that empower mainline teams to make data-driven decisions that enhance product performance and elevate the guest experience. This approach ensures products meet intended use while anticipating the needs of both current and future lululemon guests.
- Design and develop a comprehensive wear testing strategy—spanning in-season testing across all markets, proof of concepts, and special projects—to validate technical claims and meet product integrity requirements.
- In collaboration with the Global Product Experience Testing Manager and leads, manage wear test intake requests and partner with related cross-functional teams to understand seasonal and ad hoc testing needs. Prioritize and assign requests.
- Escalate deviations from product integrity standards to Deviation Committee.
- In collaboration with the Global Product Experience Testing Manager and leads, define policies and procedures related to all on body testing programs, globally, to ensure consistent execution of wear tests in all markets and compliance with regulatory, legal and product integrity requirements.
- Deliver insights from wear testing to inform Brand storytelling, product positioning, and product education.
- In collaboration with the Global Product Experience Testing Manager and leads, drive Wear Test Survey and Report Standardization: Design and maintain a standardized database of wear test surveys that satisfy the design intent of the product being tested. Ensure test surveys and formats are relevant to the tests that are being executed, and comply with regulatory, legal and other product integrity requirements. Leverage historical data sets and insights to design the survey.
- Execute mainline wear tests. Overseeing generation of insights that predict product ratings to influence future product creation and inform major launches
- Support team on analysis and report on wear test results to identify patterns across product categories, translating insights into actionable recommendations aligned with Voice of Guest feedback .
- Mentor and develop team members.
- In collaboration with the Global Product Experience Testing Manager and leads, lead creation and presentation of reports to senior leadership on the importance of product experience testing and the impact on the business.
- Collaborate with the Product Technical Solutions operations team on Project Management Intake and Prioritization.
- Collaborate with the Product Technical Solutions operations team on Project Management Reporting. Create reports and dashboards to summarize all of the projects in flight and completed, to allow leadership to prioritize work and understand project status.
- Provide financial input on department and/or project budgets, capital expenditures or other cost/resource estimates.
qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of experience or Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in product testing, preferably in the apparel industry. Experience may include roles in development, marketing, engineering, retail, customer service, or any combination involving product testing. Hands-on experience with products, including textiles and accessories, is required. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex network modeling and capacity analysis
- Proven ability to create, implement, follow and lead team regarding strategic plans to completion. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with multiple personality types and levels. Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex projects/tasks with sensitive deadlines. Strong analytical skills. Attention to detail and follow up with wear test projects.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $140,200-184,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
