Reporting to the Supervisor, Fertilizer Handling and/or the Supervisor, Materials Management, the Temporary Operator will be accountable for operating dry fertilizer process equipment, front end loaders, forklifts and miscellaneous manual labour tasks. This temporary role is expected to be for a 8 – 12 week duration and is subject to change.
Completion of daily equipment inspections and update log records
Review, development and implementation of safe work procedures
Completion of on-going regulatory training requirements
Loading and unloading from railcars
Safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment including: Front End Loaders, Fork Lifts, Conveyor Systems
Qualifications and Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years’ experience in an industrial plant environment
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Safety orientated mindset
Strong verbal communication skills
Experience working with a Front-End Loader or Forklift
