Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant recipes and standards
- Oversee food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain food safety compliance
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
- Develop new menu items and improve existing recipes to enhance customer satisfaction
- Train and mentor team members on cooking techniques, food safety, and hospitality best practices
- Ensure timely serving of meals while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize workflow and customer service
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively
- Previous restaurant management experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food industry standards, kitchen safety protocols, and food handling regulations
- Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills
- Experience in serving diverse customer needs with professionalism and hospitality expertise
