Position Summary
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites, suppliers, and the shop while maintaining excellent communication with the team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles and follow all traffic laws and safety procedures
- Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites and suppliers
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Maintain accurate delivery records and receipts
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and shop areas
- Coordinate with office staff, technicians, and suppliers regarding deliveries and schedules
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Support warehouse and shop organization as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to lift and move materials when required
- Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas is an asset
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required
