Synergy is looking to grow their teaching team! We're currently looking for a piano teacher to begin on Tuesday evenings starting in December. The candidate must be available for in-person lessons at our East academy (55 Mountainash Rd) starting December 3rd.

The ideal candidate for this position is fun, energetic, and engaging. Candidates must have some experience with the RCM curriculum and be able to effectively work with children ages five to adult. The piano teacher will be responsible for selecting appropriate materials with different skill levels and create a motivating class environment. The successful candidate will have experience teaching children, a track record of high student achievement, and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Teach according to Synergy standards
- Create lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style
- Plan activities to build students' interest in playing the piano
- Encourage students to practice regularly
- Participate in studio events and recitals
- Give feedback during lessons and communicate effectively both with parent and student
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $19.00-$29.00 per year
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
