Pay: $16.10 per hour
The Sugar Shack is looking for reliable, hardworking, high-energy cooks to join our fast-paced summer team.
This is not a “stand around and scroll your phone” job. We need team members who can move quickly, stay organized, and take pride in keeping a clean kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Operate grill and deep fryer safely and efficiently
- Prepare hot food items according to standards
- Take customer orders when needed
- Scoop ice cream quickly and consistently
- Make milkshakes and specialty drinks
- Assist with food prep
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
- Wash dishes and complete daily cleaning duties
- Follow all food safety standards
Requirements:
- Experience using a grill and fryer preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in heat
- Strong work ethic
- Positive attitude
- Must be willing to clean — no exceptions
- Flexible availability (evenings and weekends required)
