POSITION SUMMARY

OAK + FORT first engaged in a NetSuite ERP system implementation in 2017. Since then, the business has been working to integrate and migrate other corporate systems to work within the ERP. Recently, the Continuous Improvement team, in partnership with IT and Accounting, conducted an accounting systems migration that impacted the workflows of the entire business. OAK + FORT is now seeking a systems analyst to work cross-functionally with senior leadership to identify, analyze, and execute on post-migration activities.

This role will be a blend of responsibilities and require the candidate at times to act as a consultant, analyst, and subject matter expert on areas of accounting, supply chain, operations, and systems. The candidate will serve as the lead project manager and executor for all NetSuite system changes relating to business and finance workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PHASE 1: POST MIGRATION

Work in partnership with Accounting, Inventory, and IT teams to audit post-migration changes
Support post migration troubleshooting activities as reported by Head Office, Retail, and Warehouse teams
Gather feedback from cross-functional departments to identify road mapping for phase 2 – 4 activities
Report to the CEO and senior leadership regarding updates and developments
PHASE 2: STANDARDIZATION

Plan and prioritize system improvements against business needs and Corporate Objective priorities
Identify activities not included in the Phase 2 scope and ensure sign off from all cross-functional stakeholders
Work with stakeholders to elicit business requirements and process maps of operations workflows
Work with the Accounting Manager to identify controls and map accounting GL impact workflows
Work with IT to develop custom solutions and map IT/system workflows
Perform solution design and implementation
PHASE 3: REPORTING

Pioneer business intelligence (BI) training and development within the company
Develop a NetSuite "Super User" program to promote "Do It Yourself" analytics
Review and audit existing reports to identify redundancies, configuration errors, and optimization opportunities
Create and manage system reports to ensure insights accuracy
PHASE 4: OPTIMIZATION/CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Work in partnership with IT and operations teams to continually plan and execute on system and operations optimizations that are compliant with Accounting principles
Support the Finance team in developing financial planning and analysis capabilities
Stay up to date with NetSuite releases and educate the business on how to leverage new functionality
Review and audit previous phases to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of established protocols

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of one year of NetSuite OneWorld ERP/CRM-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience performing business analysis and process design with company stakeholders; familiarity with advanced accounting, supply chain, inventory control, and retail operations
Experience with change management, business process optimization, business process mapping, and project management
Experience with developing training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Experience with key partner applications such as WFX, Avalara, Solupay, Moneris are a plus
Experience with Suite Script or other programming languages is a plus
Experience working with senior management and C-Suite level executives
A fast learner, capable of understanding and bridging the gap between technical and business teams
Ability to adapt quickly to business needs and wear multiple hats
Ability to develop optimization strategies and think "big picture" while managing day-to-day tasks
