Job description:
We are seeking a motivated journeyman plumber and gas fitter for the role of Service Technician who is capable of excellent communication and self-management.
The ideal team member will be customer focused and enjoy problem-solving. The ability to manage small projects from estimating, budgeting, and planning, through to preparation, implementation, and close out is an asset.
We are seeking a Red Seal ticketed plumber with an active gas license for the position of Service Technician (a cross connection control ticket would be an asset) who is detail-oriented and looking for a place to grow along with us.
Required skills & Experience:
- Plumbing: 4 years (required)
- Red Seal (plumbing) qualification
- Active Gas B (or higher) License
- Have a good general knowledge of all Plumbing and Heating systems and code
- Able to independently manage time and projects
- Confident and knowledgeable in preventative maintenance for plumbing and heating systems
- Strong understanding of heating systems and boiler operation, and ability to trouble shoot these systems
- Enjoy problem-solving and overcoming challenges
- Willingness to learn and function within a team environment
- Must be good at doing paperwork, and working with a smartphone.
- Able to follow detailed company procedures
- All applicants must be goal-oriented and adaptable in an evolving industry.
- Participate in on-call emergency rotation.
