The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Act as a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact for guests, assisting with directions, inquiries, and concerns.
- Support crowd management by helping to expedite lineups, clear bottlenecks, and resolve guest issues efficiently.
- Move event supplies and equipment as directed, support with setup, takedown and operation of special events and functions
- Manage event inventory including the storage and care of event supplies and equipment, such as: Sound Systems, Tents, Seasonal decor, Lawn Games
- Enhance guest experience by staying informed about park events, policies, and procedures, and collaborating with all departments.
- Proactively identify and resolve guest challenges, offering creative solutions
- Assist in the coordination or logistics of events happening throughout the parks
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
- Other duties as assigned

- Required to work during peak operational times including weekends, holidays, and some evenings. Ability to work flexible shifts with varying hours, depending on visitation levels.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, on varied terrain.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
- A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G2”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. *Abstract completed by Conservation Halton
- Successful candidates are required to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSS), to verify the absence of a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted (if over 18 years old). *Cost covered by Conservation Halton up to $30.00.
- This role will be required to be available at times outside of regular work hours and may include evening and weekend work to attend events
- Standard First Aid & CPR certification is an asset
- CH parks are not accessible by public transit; candidates should ensure they have reliable transportation.
- Starting at $19.79 per hour
- Part time shifts available, hours may vary depending on availability.
