As an LTT Writer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Duties:
Formulating original, well-informed opinions based on thorough research through press briefings, interviews with brands and industry experts, and in-depth online research
Preparing for video shoots by writing teleprompter-ready scripts, creating shot lists, and coordinating project stakeholders.
Collaborating with video editors by reviewing content, providing input, and gathering visual aids such as screenshots, screen captures, and other supporting materials
Providing on-set creative direction to bring the story’s vision to life, including supporting the host during shoots and communicating with pre-production, camera, and editing teams
Generating compelling and creative tech-related video concepts aligned with the branding of our channels
Conducting hands-on testing and benchmarking of PC hardware and consumer electronics

We’re open to hiring a range of experience levels, segmented as follows:
Writer 1 - Junior Writer
This is an entry-level role focused on developing foundational skills in tech writing and video production. You will work under the guidance of senior writers and mentors to learn the "LMG voice."
Less than two years of professional and writing experience. Personal experience making projects in tech, maker, or creator spaces is an asset.
Enthusiast in the PC and consumer technology spaces
Familiarity with the industry’s major players and product lines.
Writer 2 - Writer
An established contributor who can independently own and complete conventional projects from start to finish. You have a proven ability to manage multiple scripts and collaborate across departments.
At least two years of experience as a professional creative or writer in tech journalism and/or YouTube.
Technical understanding of how consumer tech works, with deeper knowledge in one or two niches.
Proven competency juggling multiple ongoing projects at once, and articulating a clear vision for each project.
Deep understanding of the major and minor players in the tech space and how they relate to each other
Some experience writing for YouTube; understanding of hooks, pacing, outros, and thumbnails.
Writer 3 - Senior
A high-level individual contributor who leads complex, high-priority projects and mentors junior staff. You are a subject matter expert who helps shape the strategic direction of our content.
At least 4 years experience in tech journalism and writing for YouTube
Demonstrable ‘presence’ in the tech community with deep and broad industry connections.
Considered an authority on industry players and "deep lore." Synthesizes information from tech, economics, and cultural trends to predict paradigm shifts in the community.
An expert in one or more tech subject areas with strong working knowledge across all core topics in our space.
Battle-tested YouTube storyteller skilled in crafting curiosity-driven narratives that seamlessly blend high-retention pacing with sharp analysis and gut-busting comedy.
Demonstrated facility working in fast-paced newsroom style environments, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering them reliably with strict adherence to process.
Submits clean and trusted work with minimal edits needed.
Writer 4 - Principal
A household name in the PC and consumer tech space who expands our capabilities, authority, and output, elevating our content and bringing their own audience.
At least 5 years experience in tech journalism and writing for YouTube.
Significant following and authority in the tech community, with an established, large audience that overlaps our own, and a vast network of personal and industry contacts
Elite YouTube storytelling and packaging skills.
A tastemaker / guru in one or more tech niches, with advanced expertise in several more.
History of organizational excellence, offering mentorship to even senior Writers and insights into process improvements.
Compensation:
For this position, the typical hiring salary base range is based on market location and job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills and experience. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus and additional benefits, which together make up the total compensation package, in line with our company’s philosophy to recognize and reward employee contributions.
