We are seeking a dedicated Line Painter/Asphalt Worker to join our construction team. This role involves applying line markings and assisting with asphalt paving projects to ensure safe and efficient parking lot and surfaces. Although, no experience necessary, The ideal candidate will have experience in line painting, with a focus on asphalt repair and surface marking tasks. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in asphalt work while contributing to infrastructure projects that serve the community.
Duties
- Operate equipment such as line strikers, tampers, and other specialty pavement repair equipment to facilitate paving and surface marking operations
- Prepare surfaces for paving by cleaning, grading, and ensuring proper alignment
- Apply paint or thermoplastic materials accurately along designated lines for traffic control and safety purposes
- Assist with asphalt repair, including spreading, leveling, and compacting materials
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment during all phases of construction
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience construction or paving environments
- Knowledge of paving techniques and asphalt installation processes
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and markings accurately
- Strong attention to detail for precise line marking and surface finishing
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks in outdoor conditions for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Prior experience in construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific equipment use

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
