What this role involves
We’re looking for a reliable Pest Control Technician to join our growing local team. In this role, you’ll inspect, treat, and prevent pest issues in both residential and commercial properties while delivering professional, honest customer-focused service.
This position is hands-on and detail-driven, requiring comfort with equipment, and problem-solving in the field. You’ll be on the front lines protecting our customers’ homes and businesses by providing safe, effective and efficient pest management solutions while representing a company that’s raising the standard in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify all different types of pests as well as entry points
- Provide clear, accurate information to customers and act with integrity at all times
- Apply the proper pest control treatments using the proper devices and pesticides as per the label requirements
- Develop customized pest management solutions tailored to helping each client's needs
- Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and follow-up schedules
- Educate the clients on pest prevention techniques and safety procedures
- Treating and developing your assigned service area
Requirements
- Prior experience in the pest control industry
- Valid and current Alberta structural applicator’s license
- Valid Driver's License with driver's abstract
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and improve on pest control techniques and safety protocols
- Driven to learn, refine your craft , and push beyond “good enough”
