Car Central is looking to hire an Experienced Apprentice Mechanic to join our rapidly growing team! We are a family owned business that thrives on customer satisfaction, which is only made possible by our employees. We are a high volume used car dealership, and you will be working on a wide selection of different vehicle brands. We are seeking a 2nd-3rd year apprentice with a positive attitude and a passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently within the time allotted
- Receive replacement or repair parts as directed
- Keep service area neat and in tidy condition
- Use tools to carry out maintenance and repair duties
- Accurately complete forms, reports and input/ retrieve information
- Execute duties in a tactful manner and maintain a neat appearance to portray a positive image of Car Central
Qualifications:
- Must have a G license in good standing
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Must be able to complete various work forms and prepare simple written reports
- Mechanic experience required
