Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and accurately stock merchandise, ensuring proper placement and organization
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment to maintain optimal product levels
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring products are attractively presented
- Operate equipment such as forklifts safely to move heavy or bulky items when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of stock areas, including sweeping, dusting, and general upkeep to promote safety and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about product locations or store layout
- Support cashiering duties when needed, including processing transactions and handling returns
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or stock management is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but training can be provided
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers effectively
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain tidy stock areas
- Willingness to perform cleaning tasks and routine maintenance around the store
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
