Catering Services Coordinator

Do you enjoy organizing, coordinating, and delivering exceptional customer service? Join our team as a Catering Services Coordinator.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating catering events, supporting on-site teams, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

Event Planning and Coordination
Organize and coordinate catering services and special events. Ensure all event requirements are planned and executed successfully, including menus, orders, equipment, logistics, and staffing. Coordinate event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
Operations and Team Management
Supervise, train, and support service and production staff. Ensure team members follow company standards, health and safety policies, and food safety regulations while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Financial Management and Cost Control
Assist with budget planning and monitoring. Track food and labor costs to support profitability goals and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
Client Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their needs, provide customized solutions, and ensure a professional and positive experience before, during, and after each event.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and customer service. Monitor client satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and recommend improvements to enhance operations and service delivery.
Administrative Responsibilities
Manage inventories, coordinate supplier orders, oversee invoicing processes, maintain accurate records, and prepare operational reports as required.
Support Daily Operations
Provide hands-on support during events and peak periods. Ensure the smooth execution of food service operations and special events while responding quickly to operational needs and changing priorities

Qualifications

Previous experience in the catering or hospitality industry
In‑depth knowledge of service techniques and event management
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong team‑management abilities
Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
Attention to detail and strong focus on quality

The pay range for this position is $55,000.00 - $60,000.00.
