Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled drivers to operate Front-End Garbage Trucks, providing reliable service to commercial customers and multi-family complexes. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to safety, and professionalism while interacting with customers.
Shift Schedule can be chosen from the following (From 6.00am to around 4.00pm):
Normal Week Days: 4 days/10hr shift schedule (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday)
OR
Weekend: 4 days/10hr shift schedule (Thursday – Sunday, Friday – Monday, Saturday – Tuesday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Front-End Garbage Truck on assigned routes.
- Collect and empty large commercial bins and multi-family containers according to service schedules.
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Monitor bin conditions and report issues such as damage, blocked access, or contamination.
- Ensure compliance with municipal and company waste collection standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and service records.
- Represent the company in a professional manner when on-site with customers.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement (required).
- Clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience driving heavy trucks (waste industry preferred).
- Ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces safely.
- Strong safety awareness and reliability.
- Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Good communication skills and customer service mindset.
