Shipper Receiver
Description:
Located in Calgary, AB, Allied Centrifuge Technologies is an organization specializing in the design, manufacturing, servicing, and repair of centrifuges. We are currently looking for qualified Shipper & Receiver to join our team. We are looking for full-time Shipper & Receiver who can work in a fast-paced growing environment, that has an eye for detail, are able to maintain and organized and accurate workflow that produces efficient, quality work safely and consistently, while working within a team and independently.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, custom forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer
· Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
· Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
· Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
· Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, Vendors and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
· Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
· Palatize, secure equipment and products properly and safely for outgoing shipments
· Maintain stock of commonly used items
· Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
· Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables
· Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, counting accurately.
· Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
· Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving
· Unpack, coed and route goods to appropriate storage areas
· Maintain internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems
· May operate forklift, overhead cranes, pallet jacks or other equipment to load, unload or transport goods.
Qualifications/skills:
· Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
· Receiving, stocking, and stacking
· Pulling, packing, and loading
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Strong sense of time organization and urgency
· Able to work independently and within a team
· Computer skills required
· Experience with JobBoss or ERP system would be an asset
· Forklift and overhead crane experience
Education/experience:
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
· 1 year logistics, retail, or customer service experience
· Experience operating forklift and overhead cranes

· Wage negotiable depending upon experience
· Full benefits after 3-month probationary period
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
