Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mercury motors,The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working with hand tools. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on watercraft on the lakefron,ensuring safety, efficiency, and optimal performance of vessels. Candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about marine technology. Contract June 1 to September 30. Lakefront condo lodgi can be negotiated in contrac.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, and related equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using technical manuals and diagnostic tools
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble marine components
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
- Follow safety protocols at all times during maintenance procedures
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to marine systems and engines
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $8,000.00-$10,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Watercraft tech: 5 years (preferred)
