Crofton Place, London, Ontario is looking for a reliable, experienced Building Manager to join our team.We are offering full-time employment for the right candidate. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and well-run residential building and enjoys working with residents.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, grounds and vacant suites
- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs
- Conduct regular building inspections and report issues
- Assist with suite turnovers, move-ins and move-outs
- Respond to resident inquiries, maintenance requests and concerns
- Show vacant suites and assist with leasing inquiries
- Coordinate access for contractors and service providers
- Manage garbage, recycling and seasonal maintenance, including snow removal
- Respond to building emergencies when required
- Work closely with the Property Manager on the day-to-day operation of the building
- Ensure the property remains clean, safe and well maintained
- Report/document all findings/issues etc
Qualifications
- Previous experience in building management, property maintenance or a related field
- Strong general maintenance and repair skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, dependable and able to work independently
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with physical work, including garbage and snow removal
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings, weekends and after-hours emergencies
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's licence is an asset
