Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Night Dishwasher to join our busy restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by thoroughly washing dishes, cookware, and utensils during overnight hours. This role is essential to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. Prior experience in restaurant, kitchen, or food service environments is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently during night shifts
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and cleaning work areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for food service
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Ensure the kitchen remains organized, hygienic, and compliant with sanitation protocols throughout the shift
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on teamwork and efficiency
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen setting
Pay: $17.60-$23.78 per hour
