This position is ideal for someone who would like to become Investment Advisor.
In this role you will be required to make cold calls with the objective to schedule introductory meetings with prospective clients.
You will be working closely with Investment Advisor and help him to build relationship, make presentations and to onboard new clients.
This is an apprenticeship that could lead you to become an investment advisor. In this role, you will learn how to find prospects from cold lists, build relationship with them, schedule introductory meetings, identify needs and develop proposal and ultimately how to close new business.
Career progression:
Stage 1 – Learn how to find prospective clients through cold calling. Develop a proposal and open new investment accounts together with investment advisor on the team. There will be set targets for new meetings attended and investment assets brought in. Upon achieving these targets, an apprentice will move to the next stage.
Stage 2 – In addition to responsibilities outlined in stage 1, an apprentice will learn how to evaluate investment portfolio and develop proposals. Learn how to present proposals to prospective clients and how to open new accounts. Upon successful completion of this stage an apprentice will go to the final stage.
Stage 3 – In addition to all responsibilities from stage 1 and 2, an apprentice will go to a training program and get all required securities licences to offer investment advisory services. In addition to sales responsibilities, an apprentice will be assigned some clients to manage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound cold calls

- Cold Calling and Sales experience is preferred

Compensation
- In addition to the base salary, there are bonuses for qualified meetings attended and additional bonuses for opening new accounts (Stage 1 and 2)
- Stage 3 will have an increased salary plus percentage of team revenue
