Dental Administrator Wanted for Busy Growing Dental Office
Our thriving dental practice is seeking an experienced Dental Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative operations of our office, ensuring efficient and effective patient flow and a positive patient experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee patient scheduling, including booking appointments, managing waitlists, and coordinating provider schedules
- Process insurance claims and handle patient billing and collections
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Handle front desk duties such as greeting patients, answering phones, and providing excellent customer service
- Supervise and train administrative staff
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, and practice management initiatives
**Qualifications:**
- 3+ years of experience as a Dental Administrator or similar role in a medical/dental office setting
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, providers, and staff
- Proficiency with Tracker dental practice management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of dental insurance policies, billing, and coding
- High school diploma required, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Certification as a Dental Assistant or similar dental/medical certification is a plus
