Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting software. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic finance team, ensure accurate financial records, and contribute to strategic financial planning. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting, and account reconciliation processes using industry-standard accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero. A solid understanding of account analysis and financial reporting is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for management review
- Assist in budgeting processes and monitor budget adherence throughout the fiscal year
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Supervise and mentor finance staff to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial tasks
- Implement improvements to existing accounting processes to optimize workflow
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role with a strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant tools
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting processes
- Strong skills in account reconciliation and account analysis
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification is preferred
- Effective leadership abilities with experience supervising finance teams

Pay: $45,725.41-$127,702.67 per year
