We are currently seeking a Junior Family Lawyer to join our expanding team.
This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer with at least 1 year of family law experience (including articling experience for strong candidates) who is looking to grow within a supportive, mentorship-driven environment. Lawyers with 2–3 years of experience who are still early in their career are also encouraged to apply.
At Nazarian Law, junior lawyers are given meaningful responsibility from the beginning while receiving ongoing support from experienced senior mentors. We invest heavily in systems, technology, and team development so our lawyers can focus on delivering excellent results and client experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing your own family law files with mentorship and guidance from senior lawyers
- Representing clients in conferences, motions, negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
- Advising clients on divorce, parenting issues, child support, spousal support, and property division
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits, financial statements, agreements, and correspondence
- Developing practical case strategies tailored to each client’s goals
- Conducting legal research and staying current with Ontario family law developments
- Contributing positively to a collaborative and professional team environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Minimum 1 year of family law experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple files effectively
- Professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach
- Comfortable using legal technology and practice management systems
- Someone who values teamwork, accountability, growth, and client service
