THE ROLE: Organize and monitor the shipping and receiving of merchandise and materials for the Commercial Services section. Collect, sort and deliver office materials, such as mail, forms, parcels, equipment and office supplies. Receive incoming shipments, such as newspapers, magazines, books, videos, paper, supplies, and merchandise. Liaise with suppliers and customers to correct discrepancies and prepare outgoing shipments. Maintain database of incoming and outgoing materials. Maintain records of end users, shipments dispatched, and materials received. Research and evaluate venues for shipping. Liaise with external mail services to arrange delivery and pickup service, such as couriers and postal services.
THE LOCATION: CFB BORDEN, Borden, Ontario
· High School diploma AND some years of experience in a related field
· A demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. This includes but it not limited to demonstrated military education, training or experience
· A valid driver’s license (Ontario)
