Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all duties relevant to the role, adhering to industry best practices, and applying innovative techniques to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive quotes, interior design plans, renderings, and contracts.
- Develop preliminary design sketches, including electrical and partition layouts.
- Assess space utilization and traffic flow to optimize design functionality.
- Conduct site and virtual meetings with prospective clients as scheduled.
- Facilitate in-office material selection appointments with clients.
- Secure client approval for design plans and any upgrades.
- Collaborate with the site manager and administrative team to prepare detailed scope-of-work documents.
- Assist with change orders in coordination with the site manager and back office.
- Oversee construction progress and coordinate with general contractors to ensure plans and specifications are accurately implemented.
- Work closely with management to curate design selections and introduce new services.
- Participate in team meetings to review current projects and strategies.
- Perform other duties as required by project demands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 1 + years of recent and relevant experience as an Interior Designer.
- Understanding of construction painting techniques
- Knowledge in SketchUp ().
- Knowledge in AutoCAD required.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
