Shinglers
MUST have valid drivers license or reliable ride everyday or own vehicle to get to shop. Looking for someone with a general knowledge of tools and some sort of construction/trades experience.
Starting wage for labor is $20-23/hr. depending on your experience.
Starting wage for Shingler is $25-$30/hr depending experience.
Starting wage for an experienced Shingler (4 years +) /Leader WITH a voice $30+
Job Summary
Physically fit with a good attitude and ability to endure all weather conditions and physically demanding tasks. Ability to learn and retain on your feet. Speed and attention to detail important skills. Drug and alcohol testing may be required for those selected post interview. If you like to take days off and or sick often without notice look elsewhere please I do not have time for it. Your job entitles hauling piles of shingles to the waste bin, cleaning up jobsites/ground and running our shinglers material that's needed. If you want to workout while getting paid, this is the job for you as it is puts you in shape for that summer body very quickly. Busy year round with winters tbd. Part time until May, then fulltime onward 40hr+. weekends are optional, Rain days and the majority of wind days off.
Duties
- Assist in the installation and repair of roofing systems, including shingles and other materials
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and caulking guns to complete roofing tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate installation
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials, equipment, and supplies safely
- Prepare work sites by cleaning and setting up necessary tools and materials
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and durability of roofing structures
- Support carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
Experience
- Prior experience with hand tools, construction, or carpentry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights for extended periods
- Previous experience working with roofing materials or in a construction setting is advantageous but not mandatory; we value a strong work ethic and willingness to learn over specific experience levels
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
