Overview:
The General Labourer is responsible for assisting in all growing and harvest activities including defoliation, trimming, sorting, packaging of cannabis, and facility sanitation. General laborers will be cross-trained in all departments on the production floor.
Job Description:
- Perform cultivation activities including plant room transfers and defoliation.
- Perform post-harvest activities including trimming, sorting, and packaging of cannabis.
- Keeps work areas clean and performs sanitation duties where required.
- Maintains all necessary documentation associated with tasks performed.
- Strictly adhere to Rocket Factory’s Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Assurance policies.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit or stand for up to eight hours per day, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks.
- This position requires the repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects, and involves bending and reaching.
