We are looking for a full-time Administrative / Marketing Assistant who will work closely with the National Director of Marketing and be involved in all areas of marketing, communications and PR, providing national, regional and property-level support. Based in Southwestern Ontario, this position requires a home-office and the ability to commute to Dunnville, Ontario to meet with the National Director of Marketing.

The successful candidate will be an organized person with great attention to detail, who thrives providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients. They should be comfortable working alone and within a team, including with remote team-members, and be able to maintain positive relationships with a variety of internal teams, franchisees and vendors. The ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects and deadlines in this fast-paced role is key. Interest in the hospitality industry and/or marketing is important.

Internal e-newsletter support for monthly communication for franchisees
Property website support, providing content updates for individual property websites
Photo management: connect properties to photography company to schedule property photo shoots and provide ongoing coordination of shoots; review and approve photos when they arrive, tag photos in photo database, ensure photos are distributed to properties, and post approved photos to property websites
Advertising support - Track paid media in annual blocking chart, save visuals of ads
Social Media support – Working with social media agency on content
Public Relations support: track press clippings; update media lists
Brand Collateral: assist with creation of new collateral for properties, working with designer and printer; manage updates and distribute key internal collateral pieces to corporate team; review logo usage by all team members
Charitable Requests – Manage requests from charities; track donations/prizes given
Presentation assistance - Create/update PowerPoint presentations for various meetings
Research/order marketing swag materials as needed; distribute to properties/staff as needed
Assist with planning and logistical support of brand events, including brand conferences and regional meetings, as required
Manage relationships with various subscription websites
Invoice processing
Provide miscellaneous marketing department support as required

Experience Required

3+ years previous administrative experience preferred
Strong project coordination, communication, writing, and reporting skills
Excellent working knowledge of computers, internet and the ability to navigate within a variety of software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience with social media platforms
Past WordPress and Mail Chimp experience is an asset
Ability to speak and write in French is an asset

Desired Education

Diploma or Certificate from an Office Administration, Business, Marketing, PR or Hospitality program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
