Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Bartender and Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Take food and drink orders from guests, ensuring timely and attentive service
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation and presentation when necessary
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing friendly, attentive service and addressing any concerns promptly
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is advantageous
- Exceptional guest services skills with a friendly attitude and professionalism
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience
