Do you want to work under the sun? Want to work in a fast-paced environment, with great hours? We are looking for a Full-Time/Part-Time Server/Expo who is fun, energetic and team-oriented. Come join our amazing team and work daytime hours! Must be able to work weekends and holidays, and an upbeat attitude.
Candidates must be able to work on all holidays and weekends. (typical start time 6am-10am, end time: 2pm-4:30pm)
SERVER PROFILE OF CANDIDATE To be a server in the Cora restaurant chain, an employee must have the following characteristics:
· Dynamic and jovial · Relatively extroverted · Have a minimum of 1 year of experience · Be professional and responsible · Good team spirit · Sense of initiative and resourcefulness · Sense of organization and of observation · Functional bilingualism · Availability · Motivation · Adaptability to change
JOB DESCRIPTION The employee hired as a server must be capable of accomplishing the following duties within the scope of his functions:
·Follow the Cora standards and the STEPS OF SERVICE
· Verify the section plan
· Verify the set-up of his section
· Verify the set-up of the workstations (refrigerators, service stations, etc.)
· Verify and execute the daily, weekly and monthly (if applicable) tasks
· Inquire about the soup, the omelette and the cocktail of the day
· Inquire about the ongoing promotion
· Verify the reservations for the day
· Pass on all the comments or suggestions received from guests to the Service Manager or to the Operator
· Continuously improve his service
· Look to delight the guests at all times by his service
· Know the menus
· Advise the guest
· Maintain a high level of suggestive sales
· Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant at all times
· Verify the quality and the quantity of food served to the guests
· Be attentive and available to the guests’ needs
· Responsible for the overall satisfaction of the guests from the moment they enter until they leave
· Observe and react promptly to all situations involving dissatisfaction of a guest
· Communicate with the work colleagues
· Have good hygiene and food safety practices
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $15.80 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
