A Day in the Life
As an assembler, you should have good 3D vision, be calm, and patient. You should also enjoy working with small delicate parts. You should be motivated, enjoy teamwork, and comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.
Sets initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Follows all safety and production standard operating procedures and safety rules in a laboratory environment.
Assembles products according to approved standard operating procedures or according to in development manufacturing procedures.
Work with engineers and technicians to develop manufacturing processes.
Conducts engineering tests according to defined testing procedures
Participate in work stations layout design and testing.
Train other operators on the new processes developed for Glacier.
Works at different workstations as project requires.
Conducts quality inspection of own or other’s work.
Ability to follow procedures and execute them effectively.
Maintains clean and orderly workstation.
Accurately records and completes all manufacturing and project documentation.
Identifies problems and their causes.
Suggest methods for improvement.
Be available to travel to the US for up 25% per month (1 week) and occasionally for 2 weeks
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience

Nice to Have
High school diploma preferred, or diploma equivalence with relevant experience.
Three to five years experience in a GMP Environment.
Ability to read technical documentation associated with production.
Ability to use microscope to perform assembly and/or inspection process.
Ability to use and read measuring devices
Ability to follow complex instructions.
Understands the importance of regulatory (GMP, ISO) requirements.
Ability to work in a multi-function project team
Ability to adapt to change and diverse tasks
Able to read and speak English and French
Understanding of Spanish preferred
