Urban Life Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our dispatch and operations team. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, working with a collaborative team, and helping ensure our crews and clients are supported efficiently.
Contract Term:
Mid-to-late October 2026 – March 2027
With the possibility of continued employment beyond the winter season.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch crews and trucks to job sites efficiently, ensuring timely operations.
- Answer and manage phone calls while providing excellent support to contractors and clients.
- Assist contractors and clients in the yard, addressing needs promptly and professionally.
- Load trucks with salt and other materials safely and accurately.
- Report damages and repairs via email, maintaining clear and detailed records.
- Schedule and log crew assignments using Excel, keeping track of all activities.
- Perform other related duties as required, adapting to changing priorities and needs.
Qualifications

- is a quick thinker with strong communication and computer skills, able to evaluate, prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Experience operating full-size wheel loaders
- is able to handle a high call volume and stay calm
- understands the concept of customer service excellence
- is able to trouble shoot, a strong problem solver, a decision maker
- is an excellent and dedicated team player
- Must be available for various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Previous dispatch experience is an asset
- Ability to take direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
- Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic

Employees at ULS must be able and willing to work at any site where ULS is contracted to perform work, based on operational and client requirements. Work locations may vary depending on scheduling, weather conditions, and business needs.
Employees must be willing and capable of performing manual labour duties required for both winter and summer operations. This includes physically demanding work such as shoveling, lifting, landscaping, construction-related tasks, and working outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions.
