Title: Registered Dental Hygienist
We are a Periodontal specialty practice seeking a highly motivated and friendly hygienist to join our team-oriented environment. Our office offers the opportunity for personal growth, development, and continued education.
Located near McCowan and the 401, across from Scarborough Town Centre, our office operates Monday to Thursday (no weekends). Preference will be given to hygienists who are able to join our team full-time (Monday through Thursday); however, part-time arrangements will be considered with the right candidate.
What you will do
- Perform all aspects of clinical periodontal hygiene and maintenance services including (but not limited to) scaling, root planing, polishing.
- Take radiographs and/or impressions for night guards or study models
- Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
- Play an active role in sterilization and/or lab work, as required.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
Must-have requirements
- Registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Passion for consistently delivering exceptional patient experiences.
- Strong communication skills with advanced fluency in English
- Ability to multitask and prioritize task effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small integrated team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word)
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification
Nice-to-have (preferred) requirements
- Experience with Tracker is an asset.
- Experience with digital radiography (x-rays).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 31.0 per week
