Position Summary – The Breakfast Bar Attendant is responsible for ensuring the quality of food and beverage items provided as well as the cleanliness of the Breakfast Bar.

· Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining the buffet with proper fresh food at all times, in a clean and presentable manner.
· Ensures all foods are handled and stored safely in accordance with established health codes.
· Operates all kitchen equipment as needed for food preparation.

Duties and Essential Job Functions
1.Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining the buffet with proper fresh food at all times, in a clean and presentable manner.
Provide a high level of professional service; presenting the food and beverage in a manner which exceeds the guest’s expectations
Replenish all items for freshness and to have adequate supply of items available to guests
Provides service to the banquet room when meeting in session
Clear and clean tables, trays and bus pans
Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas
Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and in serving areas
Always searching for ways to “wow” the customer, is proactive in dealing with the guest, never answering a request with “no”
Greet all customers with enthusiasm, building relationships with customers in an appropriate way by using personality and positive attitude
2. Ensures all foods are handled and stored safely in accordance with established health codes.
·Wash, peel and cut items for the guest offering
Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, scour pots and pans
Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
3. Operates all kitchen equipment as needed for food preparation.
Adhere to specific cleaning checklists as well as an overall commitment to general cleanliness
Cleans Breakfast Bar, Great Room, banquet room and back of the house areas, as well as completing assigned cleaning projects in a timely fashion and
Stocks fridges and equipment, organizing all storage areas and kitchen daily
Maintains inventory ensuring adequate supply of various items and that the storage area is neat and organized
Reports problems with equipment to Maintenance Department via work orders
4. Maintains a clean and organized work environment adhering to all health and safety standards.
Remove all garbage and adhere to recycling policies.
Sweep and mop floors
Handle and store cleaning products
Vacuums room and returns equipment to storage areas in an organized fashion
Be aware of all chemicals used in any of the cleaners/tools used on the job and utilize following safety guidelines
Follow all guidelines outlined in the Health & Wellness manual
During your orientation we will be going over proper W.H.M.I.S in the work place hazard material

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
