Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities by visiting automotive dealerships, repair facilities, fleet companies, and other automotive businesses throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
You will represent our dealership professionally, build strong client relationships, generate new business, secure customer accounts, and bring in new orders and contracts. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys meeting clients in person and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to visit prospective and existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive dealerships, repair shops, fleet companies, and commercial clients.
- Promote the dealership's products and services to potential customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Generate new business through client visits, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
- Secure new customer accounts, purchase orders, and business contracts.
- Conduct regular follow-up visits to maintain customer relationships and identify additional sales opportunities.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities using CRM software.
- Represent the dealership in a professional manner while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and business development goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in outside sales, business development, or automotive sales.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and traveling throughout the GTA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle for business travel.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the GTA.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
