Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Follow detailed repair procedures and schematics to ensure precise assembly and disassembly of vehicle parts.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to proper safety protocols during maintenance activities.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed.
Qualifications
- Valid license as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic with relevant certification.
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and components.
- Proficiency in using schematics, diagnostic software, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during maintenance tasks.
- Experience with automotive assembly processes and routine maintenance procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Electric and Hybrid repair knowledge is an asset
