We’re looking for a Flatbed and Moffett Trucking Associate to join our Trenton team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering landscaping and hardscaping products to contractors and homeowners, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries. You’ll also have the opportunity to assist in the yard when needed, making sure our customers receive the best possible service.
What You’ll Do:
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding the delivery schedule.
- Prepare trucks for delivery, including loading/unloading products.
- Deliver landscaping and hardscaping products in a safe, timely, and friendly manner.
- Comply with Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance on the Flatbed and Moffett.
- Operate a tri-axle dump truck or single-axle dump truck when required (if appropriately licensed).
- Assist in the yard when needed, including operating material handling equipment to load company and contractor vehicles and preparing orders.
- All other duties assigned
Who You Are:
- A reliable and experienced truck driver with a strong focus on safety.
- A customer-focused professional who understands the importance of timely deliveries.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with hands-on work when needed in the yard.
- Experience in hardscaping, landscaping, construction, or building materials is an asset but not required.
What You’ll Need:
- Valid AZ and/or DZ driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract (preference given to unrestricted license holders).
- 5 years of truck driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Ability to operate a smartphone for logistics and communication.
- Forklift/Moffett Certification is an asset (training available).
- A strong commitment to safety in all aspects of the job.
