Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and food service, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food assembly according to recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Support the team during busy service hours by serving guests and managing order flow
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and restaurant policies at all times
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant service is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if needed
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and meal preparation processes is a plus
