RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conpute is one of the leading Managed Service and Cloud Provider in the Durham region, and we are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our Managed Services support team. We provide onsite and remote support to our customers spread across the GTA, as well as custom Cloud hosted solutions. Our team is close-knit and works together to resolve issues in a collaborative manner and our team culture is based on trust. SKILLS:
- Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service
- Windows 11 application deployment and support
- Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and Internet troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory support and administration
- Experince with VPN and ZTNA solutions for remote access
- Working knowledge of VOIP based phone systems
- Experience with IT support ticketing systems and a good understanding of ITIL standards
- Able to explain and relate highly technical information in easy to understand language with end users
- Strong time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with our customers to resolve technical issues and provide an awesome customer support experience
- Work with vendor support on behalf of our clients to ensure their support issues are resolved
- To be pro-active in suggesting and proposing new technologies to support the businesses
- Travel to customer sites on occasion to deploy new equipment and participate in projects
- Recognizing and escalating more difficult problems to Tier 2 support
- Use, update and contribute content to our internal knowledge base
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation and after hours activities and project work as required
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years of Helpdesk support experience is preferable
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology
- Microsoft certification are preferred. If not achieved working towards obtaining certification within 6 months of start date.
