EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT & YARD MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEE required for Mid-Sized Heavy Civil General Contractor with head office & shop in Stratford. This is a permanent & full-time position at the Stratford yard and the hiring requirements are immediate. A DZ or AZ license would be very beneficial to this position but not a requirement.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU LIVE MORE THAN 60 KM FROM STRATFORD.
Previous experienced is required and a clean driver abstract & record is required if you have the DZ or AZ license.
This position requires an honest and highly self-motivated individual who can work diligently on their own with limited supervision and also works well others when required & can change tasks quickly when needed.
Part of the duties for this position include preventative maintenance and the servicing of various heavy & light civil construction equipment, plus our fleet of company pick-up trucks.
Also, the applicant would be responsible for organizing and maintaining our construction yard & shop, organizing, loading & unloading site materials and organizing & maintaining all our construction small tools.
This position will offer a multitude of different duties & challenges and also offers a highly competitive compensation package including top wage, benefits, clothing allowance & RRSP contribution. Hours - Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 5:00, Friday 7:30 to 4:00.
