We are looking for our next leader to join the Thai Affair Rolled Gelato and Twisties management team at White Rock beach. This person should inspire positivity among the team and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
· Take an active role in the customer-facing/production front during operating hours.
· HR Management, including:
- hiring (calling, filtering, interviewing)
- training (onboarding, performance management)
- scheduling
- meeting labour targets (cancelling shifts, covering shifts as needed)
· Instill and uphold our workplace culture, according to our core values.
· Participate in regular meetings and be in constant communication with the management team.
· Balance daily cash.
· Inventory management and planning.
· Ingredient prepping during the slow/winter season.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:
· At least 1-2 years of management experience.
· Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
· The ability to train effectively and instill/uphold our workplace culture.
· The ability to consistently give and receive honest feedback with a constant desire for improvement.
· A passion for delivering genuine customer experiences and inspiring the team to do the same.
· A proactive, ownership-taking attitude and a desire to grow within the company.
· Availability to work full time, including late evenings, often requiring extra hours in the spring/summer months and weekends/holidays.
