Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform residential and commercial electrical installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and support HVAC-related electrical systems. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Install and connect electrical equipment related to HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform service calls and communicate professionally with customers.
- Complete required documentation and service reports accurately.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians and other team members on project work.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition.
QualificationsRequired:
- Red Seal Electrician certification or Registered Apprentice Electrician.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with HVAC controls and electrical systems.
- Experience in commercial and residential service work.
- Fall protection, WHMIS, and First Aid certifications.
